This is the beginning of what I plan to be a blog of great importance to the reading public. 

The main idea is to post items of great general and human interest, not to mention important news, health and family information.

Truth is what we can base sound decisions in our lives on, therefore, I am not very partisan politically.  I'll enthusiastically praise any politician for a job well done and will take him or her to task for placing partisanship above the good of the people.  As a former Marine intelligence analyst, I know how to report the facts and let the chips fall where they may.

The plan is to have a virtual cafe here where folks can visit and interact through comments on the topics that are posted.  I have been known to come up with some interesting facts and figures that are not easily found, so "Stay tuned" sharpen your comment "Pen" and check back often, but remember, I would rather post a few very significant items than a host of inconsequential ones.
